I suppose this is a common issue for shows that are filmed and edited on home computers. Frankly I’m surprised I had no warning that my PC was about to go ker-splat. I’m sorry to say my computer seems to be broken in a bad way. To describe the issue for any technomancers:
I left the computer on overnight, as I usually do because I’m a terrible abusive PC owner, when I returned the computer seemed to be off. So I turned it on- I can hear the fans whirring inside, and one small light blinks on, but the rest of computer does absolutely nothing- no picture on the either monitor.
My best guess is either the motherboard or the power supply. I’m hoping arrange to have it looked at ASAP.
There is no indication or reason to believe that any of my current files have been damaged or erased. Most likely they are sitting safely on my hard drive. However, I can’t access them. I’m working as fast as I can to get this fixed. Worst case scenario I will hook up my old Wacom to another computer and start from scratch. But commissions will still be coming through.
Act 36 is done, ready for upload. However, again, I can’t access it. It’s truly beyond frustrating. There is unfortunately nothing I can do about this. As things stand the show cannot continue. But I plan the moment my computer is fixed to upload Act 36 and continue the series.
So that’s the problem. I’m very sorry to all my fans for the delay, I know I’ve disappointed you. I will continue to work to fix the problem.
This website has a donation button which has only ever served as a tip jar. But if you’re interested in contributing to replacing my motherboard and/or power supply (I’ll probably be buying from newegg.com but anyone has a better idea please shout them out!) Please feel free to click the donate button for however much you decide payable to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Again, I’m very sorry for the inconvenience.
